Sponsorship
The point has been made many times that we should look for sponsorship for our events. The counter point was made at the Eastbourne Meeting that unless there is a way to create an audience for the game, sponsorship is not likely to come to us.
We did ask one of those who had promoted the idea of sponsorship if he would try to investigate it for us and he made some initial moves in that direction, but has recently reported that he thinks the numbers playing in our events are now too low and he does not think he could get any results from this.
Are there any others out there who do understand sponsorship and would be willing to look for it on our behalf?

Why not have events named in honorarium or special recognition for a small fee? This has had success across the pond in many regional and national events.
I don't think a small fee would help much. We do have the Schapiro Spring Foursomes which is sponsored.
