Not sure of this is the right place for this...
One of the players at our club refuses to put his name in the Bridgemate because his partner doesn't want the results affecting his (the partner's) NGS.
Does this work? If so, is it allowed? It sounds very much like manipulation to me.

It's certainly not allowed, and it wouldn't work unless the scorer also failed to put the player's EBU number in.

The important thing is to check that the scorer/TD is not going along with this attempt to circumvent the requirements.
