Score adjustment
In an eight table Howell movement, a pair was stationary at 4 NS for the first seven rounds and was supposed to sit 4 EW for the remaining rounds. They forgot to move and played the next three rounds as NS, with the incoming pairs also not noticing the error.
After three wrong rounds the stationary pair discovered their error and shifted direction.
How should the score be adjusted?
Simply switching the scores between NS and EW may not be equitable because we cannot assume that the opposing pairs would have reached the same contracts and faced the same defence.
Applying Law 12C1b to recover the probable outcome had the infraction not occurred replaces the players' judgement with that of the Director.
That leaves Law 12C2a, to treat both sides as responsible and award A- to both.
Grateful for advice.

Just score them as they played them. This should be standard practice whenever a table fails to arrow-switch or arrow-switches at the incorrect time. You can't use 12C2a because a result was obtained..
