Light Opening at 1st/2nd positions with 8 Pts
Is light Opening at first and second positions permissable with 8 points ? I seem to remember that this was allowable under guidance given in the WB but not under 7A under the BB ? In BB, it states that a player is only allowed to open if it follows the rule of 18 as a minimum at Level 4 at 1st and 2nd positions? Further, if is not allowable, is it regarded as an illegal bid or a psyche bid? If it is psyched, I suppose this should be recorded as a green psyche if not fielded by the partner ?
