Scorecards
Last night we had a teams session at the club. There were two hands one of which was misscored and the other not at all. Unfortunately at both tables no one was recording their scores and so we had to rely on memory which fortunately worked. It was mentioned that at one time it was an obligation that at least one of a pair had to record their scores but this has since been dropped (intro of Bridgemates?). I wonder if this is something that should be reinstated particularly at large face to face events?

It's only at face-to-face events that it could be relevant, but I'm not sure it's large ones where the problem is most likely to arise. Since you have had the problem, introduce the requirement for such events.
