Convert total IMPs to average IMPs
Our club only had three tables so decided to run an IMPs pairs session (results likely to be fairer than match points with so few tables). As I understand it, the movement option "Total IMPs" was chosen on the computer, so the final IMPs scores were twice the standard IMPs score - i.e. they weren't averaged. The scores were uploaded to Pianolo and EBU - so the effect on NGS is double what they should be.
For example one board where E-W made a slam scored -29/+29 IMPs which is impossible. Should be 14.5 IMPs.
Please could you kindly indicate a suitable way to rectify this. Minimum solution would correct the EBU interpretation of the result. Maximum solution would correct the published/Pianola results.

I think you will have to find out the scoring program to get a meaningful answer though a good place to start would be to simply select the desired scoring method for the event.
Thanks Gordon - they were able to re-select the correct option in EBUScore for Pairs.
Looks like they set 'Total Cross-Imps' rather than 'Cross-Imps divide by comparisons' in the EBUScore Scoring Method box.
