How do you score a board that has just one result?

Because, for example, it was played three times but two of the scores were artificial.

Yes this happened!

    Ave+/Ave+

    White Book 8.78.3 - 8.87.3 sorry

If a score on a board cannot be compared with any other score, it is scored as if ‘no result can be obtained’, Law 12C2.

Took a while to find it: it's 8.87.3.

So under 12C2, how do we assign responsibilty? Since neither pair is at fault (it's not their fault there is no other score to compare against), is it AVE+/AVE+?

    Yes, as stated.
