Charge to deal boards
What's a reasonable going rate for dealing boards for another club?
- Set of 24 boards including say 24 hand records.
- They'd drop them off and pick them up.
We have 3 nearby clubs asking for a set each, once a week.

We do 10p per board In Northern Bridge League and Lancs competitions.
When I allowed another club to use our dealing machine I looked at the cost in terms of how much a deal was costing the club. That is the dealing machine capital replacement cost over a period ( say 7 years ) and the maintenance cost then worked out how much each deal cost the club.
Obviously the figures used are a matter of opinion - capital cost over 7 years say £3000 , 3 deals per week. . cost per deal equals £3000 divided by 7 years divided by 52 weeks divided by 3 deals per week = £2.74 per set . Excludes labour costs - typically club dealers are voluntary
I have excluded printing costs , which can mount up if several printouts are provided say at 2p or 3p per page. These printing costs tend to be dismissed as insignificant - until you have to buy a ream of paper or ink or a drum.
Remember the risk for providing the deals is with your club
