Bridgemate undo no-play to play board later
A slow table weren't allowed to start their last board but said they would play it at the end of the session. Marked as "No Play" so next round could proceed. Is there a way cancelling the No Play so they can use the bridgemate in the normal way for this board instead of the scorer entering it manually in EBUScore

TD menu, and option to erase result (3?), will allow you to erase ''Not played'; and subsequently enter the actual result.
A similar situation happened last night. By the time I got to the table the Bridgemate had considered the session ended and the TD menu isn't available.
You can also delete a 'result' in the Bridgemate Control Software. If you then wake up the BM itself, I think (but I've not tested) it will pick up that the session is 'un-ended' for that table.

I'll try this next time - thanks
The TD menu is still available at the end of a session - just click something (OK or Back, can't remember) and the TD option will reappear.
I was going to say something like this, but equally could not remember the details. I meant to check on a live bridgemate at the weekend: I did delete scores after end of session from the TD menu, but still can't remember what I did to get to TD menu.
I think just click OK to cycle through three different screen view and one has a TD MENU button
The scoring program then needs the new result adding, together with the relevant pair numbers and score for the board.
Our set-up leaves everything live: BCS stays open (until it is closed/exitted). the server stays on with data intact (until disconnected and powered off)
If you click on the Bridgemate when it says End of Session it will ask you for a table number.
Just put in the table number of the table where you wish to replay the board and then click on TDMenu.
You can delete the original No Play result
Thanks all. I hadn't discovered that, after re-awakening the Bridgemate, clicking OK from the 'End of Session' screen gets to a screen with the TD menu. Also noticed that you can get the % and Ranking of any pair.
Our BCS doesn't automatically shut down once all the Bridgemates have timed out.
'Automatically close BCS at End of Session' is a tickbox in the BCS options (not allowed in Swiss events). This automaticallly shuts down BCS after all tables have logged off. If that is not set, then you can use the TD menu to go back and enter the Not Played board. Otherwise you will have to use Enter Scores to put in a result at end.
The option is just useful for clubs who leave their PC powered on to stop confusion when the program is next used.
In general, this should not be set but you need to remember to manually close it each session.
