Teams of 10 scoring

Using EBU bridge score how to score Teams of 10

Comments

  • Although teams of 6 and teams of 10 have been attempted, experience says it does not work well, due to one team having more NS pairs than the other team.

You can score as pairs with total cross IMPs or aggregate (total points) and then export to a spreadsheet and add up the scores for the pairs in the two teams.

This may be the case at any one moment in time (i.e. round), but not necessarily for each board. A relatively simple solution allows for boards to be played four times, twice with team A as N/S and twice with team B as N/S.
However, each pair plays only four out of five boards in play, and (in the simplest scenario) only four out of the five opposing pairs.
