Definition of Controls.
In the old Blue Book (2017)
Section 5B was High Card Points (HCP) and Controls.
Ace= 2 controls King= 1 control.
The Controls are not listed in BB (2022)
Can someone point me to where the information and requirements of Controls is now listed. With regard to requirements for Strong openings etc.

Ah... the rules have changed:
5 D Rules for “Strong” opening bid
5 D 1 To be considered a “Strong” opening bid, the minimum allowed by agreement is:
(a) Opening bid of 1C or 1D at least 13 HCP
(b) Above 1D at least 16 HCP, or 13 HCP concentrated in two suits containing 10+ cards.

They are no longer used in the Blue Book. The earlier definition you quoted is one that has been standard for many decades.
