Difficult opening.
Any thoughts on how to open this hand.
Although it has 3 losers, I don’t think it would qualify for a Strong hand Benji 2C opening. Opposition may not be happy.
Rightly or wrongly I decided to open 3H. Maybe best to pass and show a 2 suited hand. I’ll show you the full deal shortly.

I agree it does not meet the requirements to be agreed as strong. I would open 4H rather than 3H. Of course possible to write down a hand where 6C is cold but i prefer to try to make the opponents life difficult and I hope that if they wade in with 4S partner is waiting!
You are right that the hand does not qualify as "Strong". I would have opened 1H.

Here’s the full deal below.
I would have passed, expecting there to be more bidding with only nine points - and with 13 spades distributed around the other three hands. I suspect that if so, I might have been disappointed.

"! had nothing"
"I had a 7-6 distribution with seven hearts."
