After enquiring at a Community Resource about room rental I got the reply - "we have special rates for Registered Charities" . . . so I asked myself can we do that - what does it entail and a quick look at google it seems it is possible to register as Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). Has anyone gone down that road - is it difficult - what are the drawbacks?
