Hesitation Mitchell
I am running a two-section two-session tomorrow, 22 tables in all divided into two sections of 11 tables each.
In order to play 24 boards in each section instead of 22, I plan to use Hesitation Mitchell as the movement.
I will be using Hesitation Mitchell for the first time. I have gone through the movement and am comfortable with it.
Only one question: Once the movement is set and the bridgemates activated, will the bridgemates show the players' names and board numbers automatically or will I have to do anything different for the bridgemates to show the movement.
Grateful for an early response as this possibility has just struck me.

The only difference with normal club duplicates is there are two sections, so you need to get the players to enter the correct Section / Table at the start. (Make sure Bridgemate are set to Select in Setup rather than Fixed Section/Table numbers).
Everything else works as normal with regard to Bridgemates. In the second session, you wont need to enter names.
11 Table Hesitation Mitchell.
Important, be aware, at round 11, there is a partial Arrow Switch, with tables 5, 6, 7 & 11 NOT arrow switching. (Double check that with the movement card)
On round 12 All tables (apart from table 11, the hesitation table) will arrow switch.
As TD I always go around to make sure the correct tables have arrow switched. Good luck and enjoy.
Kind regards Steve
You can hard-wire BridgeMates to a particular section/table ... but need to change them back the way they usually are ... and make sure they don't get moved from table to table. Usual error is to enter the number of the board on the table.

Moving pairs play twice at table 11, first EW and then NS
You could run a 22 table Web Mitchell in one section.
